Configure weekly hours
Reviewed by Customer Help Product Support on July 23, 2026. Verified for release 2026.07.
Weekly hours are the normal recurring schedule for a location. Holiday entries replace them for one date. Hours appear publicly and can also appear on a connected Google listing.
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”Add and save at least one location. Confirm each location’s effective time zone before publishing a schedule; the same clock text has different meaning in different zones.
Build a schedule template
Section titled “Build a schedule template”For every day from Monday through Sunday:
- Closed means the location does not open on that weekday. While selected, the Open and Close inputs for that row are ignored; clear it before entering an open period.
- Open time is the start of the location’s one regular service period for that weekday. Enter a valid local clock time in the location’s effective time zone.
- Close time is the end of that weekday’s period and must be later than Open. Overnight hours are not supported in one row; represent them as appropriate calendar-day periods or contact support before publishing a misleading schedule.
The Hours template supports one continuous range per day. Chat coverage supports up to four separate windows per day and is configured independently in Chat Settings.
Apply to locations
Section titled “Apply to locations”Location assignment determines which saved locations receive the template. All locations selects or clears every current row, after which you can change individual choices. Apply to selected replaces the complete weekly schedule for each selected location; it is not a merge. Review the selection carefully to avoid overwriting a branch-specific schedule.
The times apply in each selected location’s own time zone. Applying 09:00–17:00 to Chicago and New York means 9 a.m.–5 p.m. locally at both locations.
Edit one location
Section titled “Edit one location”In Location schedules, select Edit hours, change that location’s daily rows, and select Save hours. This avoids replacing other locations. Summary labels provide a quick overview; open the editor to review the exact schedule for every day.
What happens after saving
Section titled “What happens after saving”The saved weekly schedule appears on the public page. A day with both valid opening and closing times also appears in the page’s customer-readable weekly-hours information; a closed day or incomplete range does not create an open interval. The next valid holiday exception takes precedence for its saved date and is described separately in Holidays.
If the location is connected to Google and ready for updates, saving can also update its Google listing. Confirm the result in Listings. Chat uses its own coverage schedule, so review Chat Settings separately.
Permissions, billing, localization, and visibility
Section titled “Permissions, billing, localization, and visibility”Only Administrators manage hours. Saving hours does not change billing. Day names and time formatting follow the selected language, while each schedule uses the location’s effective time zone. Hours are customer-visible and can also appear on connected Google listings.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- Apply button changes too many locations: select locations individually; All locations is on by default in the template.
- Hours appear shifted: check the location time zone, not your profile time zone.
- Open day appears closed: provide both valid times and turn off Closed for that day.
- Holiday still overrides hours: remove or update that date in Holidays; this is expected precedence.
- Google has old hours: open Listings and confirm the Google account is connected, the correct location is matched, and the latest update succeeded.
